Slothstock Stories

"The Woody"

"Janis"

Wooderson is a young and free-spirited Sloth who is passionate about music and the counterculture movement of the 1960s. He is driven by his love for adventure and his desire to experience new and exciting things. His ultimate goal is to live life to the fullest and create unforgettable memories.

Wooderson's love for music and the hippie culture began at a young age. Growing up in a small town, he often felt like he didn't fit in and was drawn to the rebellious attitudes of the counterculture movement. When he heard about Slothstock, a music festival in New York featuring his favorite band, The Grateful Sloths, he knew he had to be there.

On August 15, 1969, Wooderson set out on a journey across the country to attend Slothstock. He hitchhiked, met new people, and embraced the hippie lifestyle along the way. When he finally arrived at the festival, he was greeted by a sea of like-minded individuals and the smell of psychedelics in the air.

As he made his way towards the stage, Wooderson couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The rain had turned the festival grounds into a muddy mess, but that didn't stop him from pushing through the crowd to get closer to the stage.:

At the festival, Wooderson formed strong bonds with the people around him. He met fellow music enthusiasts, hippies, and free spirits who shared his love for The Grateful Sloths. He also struck up a conversation with a girl named Janis, who shared his love for adventure and music. They quickly became friends and spent the rest of the festival together.

As Wooderson danced and sang along to the music, he felt a sense of belonging that he had never experienced before. He realized that he didn't have to conform to the norms of society and that there were others out there who shared his values and beliefs.

After the festival ended, Wooderson returned home a changed person. He had a newfound confidence and a deeper understanding of himself and the world around him. He continued to attend music festivals and became more involved in the counterculture movement, spreading love, peace, and music wherever he went.

Years later, Wooderson looks back on that unforgettable day in August 1969 as a defining moment in his life. He will always cherish the memories of Slothstock and the impact it had on him. And whenever he hears The Grateful Sloths' music, he can't help but smile and be transported back to that muddy field in New York.

Let's just say this is where the "Magic" happened
